Help with Spouse Visa to Australia (Delhi)
My Wife-to-be is currently in India and she is based in Madras. The Australian High Commission and Visa Processing Centre is in Delhi and we actually need to get our application in for a Spouse Visa so that my fiance' can come and join me here in Australia.
The only thing is that since we are quite limited for time we really need some sort of a "visa agent" in Delhi who can help us out with this. As you can imagine, we really need someone reliable (since none of us are in Delhi) who can personally take our application and help push it through locally. Does anyone have any contacts with Visa Agents in Delhi who can help with this ? Thanks in advance for your help... |

It would be best if you handle this yourself. I know personally the Australian Hgh commission takes more time if the application is made through an agent.
I would suggest you to come to Delhi and meet the visa officer directly. They are very helpful and nice. This would definately speed up the process and you'll be adviced correctly.

I agree with Vinay, much better that you apply directly and in person if possible.
Visa agents don't seem to help things at all, just lighten your pockets. |

A third on that as to not do it personally lends an illicit air to the request. Also, it permits personal links to the staff. I am not from Oz but found the staff member was also a former grantee of my institution and it was "expedited"..

Thanks for the info fellas
Well fortuntately I found out that as of 1st June 2005, a company called TTServices (www.ttsaustraliavisas.com) now processes applications directly from most major cities in India. What an awesome move to help people in my situation.I will be sending our application via this service.. |
