From U.S. --> Spain--> India

Hey all,

I am a citizen of the U.S., but will be going to Spain in late September till the beginning of November. I was wondering if it would be a problem to buy a one way ticket to India from Spain. I had heard that if one wanted to leave for India from Spain, a roundtrip ticket would be necessary. Is this true?

Also, if I have a 5 year multiple entry Visa from the U.S., is there any way I can avoid taking a 6 month jaunt to Nepal? I would prefer to stay in India the whole time, but I know I can only stay for 6 months at a time in India. Any suggestions? Thanks.

i'm sure you can fly from Barcelona, i remember someone telling me they had a cheap flight like this. One way should not be a problemo.
As for your 5 yr visa, i believe you must leave the country every 6 months, but only in and out should do it. And you may be able to remedy this by visiting the immigration office, but i wouldn't count on it.

You can get a one way ticket from Madrid to Delhi or Bombay, cost few weeks ago for flights October and November was 495 Euro, I think the companies doing it were BA and Lufthansa. You can try in http://www.ebookers.es The one way flights from India to Spain are cheaper, only 350 euros.
