Extending Stay on 30-day Max Stay Visa
I know someone who has a Chinese Passport and was issued a 30-day maximum stay visa. What is the procedure for extending it while in India or does she need to go to SriLanaka?
I am yet to meet anyone - who could extend their visa's while in India. Its best to fly out to Colobo OR Bangkok than to deal with the Indian bureaucracy!

The "going to Sri Lanka" bit is to get a NEW visa, not to renew one. Your friend needs a new visa. Whether or not this can obtained in Colombo by a Chinese national on a 30-day visa is anyone's guess.
