ENCR Stamp on Passport for Green card Holders

I am a US Resident, Green Card holder. I have not been to India in 9 years. I am visiting for the 1st time in all these years. Questions are:

[1]. As I have an Indian Passport and am no longer an Indian resident, does my passport need an ENCR stamp when I am leavign India to come to the US?

[2]. Do I have to get any additional stamps before I come back to the US?

Can anyone highlight some insider tips on the Bombay International Airport and things I should be aware of?

You need your green card, and, of course, a valid passport. If the green card has been approved but not yet received by you, passport stamp [ENCR?] is sufficient. The stamp is irrelevant once the green card has been issued.

I'll let someone else take the BIA question...
