Employment visa: what is needed for the spouse and kids paperwise?

I hope that you can advise me on the following: my husband will apply for an employment visa since he will start a job for an Indian company. The spouse and kids will get visas as accompanying family members. We need to apply for this at the Indian ambassy in the country where we are officially from, not at the Indian ambassy in the country where we live now. But now the tricky part: two of our kids have different passports/nationalities since they are adopted and we are in the process of getting their Dutch passports. I am trying to contact the Indian ambassy in Holland but haven't been succesfull so far so I thought I check it with the experts. Thanks for your help.
