First of all, thank you for your reply. Me and my husband are Romanians, currently in China and we do not have HK ID card.

You never know, there's a chance that someone will be along with the same experience who can answer properly.
In general it is always quicker to get your visa in your country of origin, or at least of normal residence. Anywhere else and it may well take much longer.

For standard tourist visas, applications from non-residents take 4-5 business days minimum. I would allow an extra week for employment visas.
Here are the fees:
6 month multiple entry (Business/Tourist/Other) HKD315.00
1 year multiple entry (Business/ Other) HKD510
5 year multiple entry (Business/ Other) HKD1015
Visa Application Fee Other Nationals HKD100 (additional to the above)
Also note, for an employment visa, applicants must provide a proper appointment letter from the employer with copies of documents relating to the Company's incorporation in India.
