Date of birth document for new passport

I wish to apply for a new passport in India for my father n mother.Though both are graduate but the high school certificate showing their date of birth is not available with us.

Can any other document like PAN card,DL or Bank Account form act as the proof for Date of birth.

generally, PAN card and/or driving license = proof of identity
bank account = proof of address

since you live in bangalore, apoorva - the most efficient and competent place to enquire is in " bangalore one."

A Self affidavit can be filed before a Notary stating that this is your date of birth and you solemly contest that it is true to your knowledge and you can also support the same with the copies of your PAN Card and Driving license.

Yes,

PAN card can be used as a proof of Date of Birth

Driving License can also be used as a address proof as well as Date of birth proof

Ration Card issued by Civil Supplies Department can be used as address proof

Voter ID issued by Election Commission of India can be used as address proof as well as Date of birth proof.
