Consultancy Work on an X Visa?

Hi,

My husband is an expat and employed here, I'm finding myself on a loose end and was wondering whether it would be possible to offer consultancy services to small businesses?

Does anyone know or have experience?

Thanks

If I might ask, where about are you located? Your profile says UAE - but are you actually in India?

I'm in a similar situation - but in my case I'm doing consultancy work for a company in the Philippines which then pays the consultancy fees back into our company back home (in NZ) - hence I'm not really working in India as such. Best bet is to check with Indian immigration I guess as to what the rules are.

good luck!
