Confusion on Visa HELp please

I am enquring regards to visa.

I have had my register done in India, I am born birtish citizen and my
wife is born in India.
We had our court marriage done in March but due to certain hindu
traditions, our indian wedding is november.

Now i want her to fly back with me after that.

what is the best way to go about this.

She has her passport now, in the new name.

When is the best time to apply for the visa and will be acceptable, as we
are married by the court of marriage, in India.

Basically, there are two kinds of British visa: settlement and non-setlement. If you are planning to live in UK together, rather than visit, then she will need a settlement visa.
