cancel online passport application form

Hi All,

I have online apply for passport. my document submission date is 3 aug 2010.till now i dont submit my document.

I want to edit some details in my application form.
so, how can i cancel my application form.if its not possible then,
can I re-apply online application with changes, is that any issue.

I have apply for fresh/ordinary passport .

i have the same query. i have applied online for my passport. now i want to edit some of the details(include police staion) in the address field. can i do that with pen on the print out? or should i take a fresh application/ in that case will the old application create any problem??is there a way to cancel it???

Bumping this thread because I have the same problem. Recently submitted new passport application online but I made some mistakes in filling up the form and need to change some details.

Urgently need to cancel or re-submit the form. Please help anyone with any experience regarding this matter. I am talking about Indian passport here.

I had reapplied online without cancelling or doing anything about the earlier form. there was no problem at all and i got my passport in time

I don't think you can cancel a form online just because you made a few mistakes. Just print out the form as entered, make the corrections by pen, countersign them and tell the guys when submitting about the errors. They can make the corrections at the backend.

same case here.. did u gave previous file number? didnt they find reasons why previous application is pending?
