Grammar is not a priority. Even spelling is not --- or I'd be out!

We are not the only forum to discourage sms-type abbreviations, though --- and we do.

You're right, I was a bit snippy. I was watching the Republican response to Obama's speech last night while making the comment, and I think it put me in a rather contentious mood.
