Business Visa - minor discrepency
I happened to come across the Visa thread above and figured I'd post a correction.
You can, indeed, get a greater than 5 year visa - I possess (and have, since 2006) a 10 year multiple entry visa with a registration required for greater than 180 day stays. While I cannot technically reside in India (different visa required), I can stay for longer than 180 days at a time. Only bummer is that my passport expires before my visa does... Cheers, -Andrew |

You can have that visa transferred to a new passport.

As far as I know, 10-year visa is only available to people with US citizenship, not to other nationalities.
