... ... and returned at 3, with over a couple of hundred other people to get the visa, which I obtained.
Sounds like you had to storm the place with your own private army!

Sorry... my weird imagination again

Glad you got your visa. What do mean, not take the flight? India is waiting for you, Colin: we'll be most disappointed if you don't come!

Yes, rereading it, it does sound like we stormed the place!

Well, today I'm up for going. But my mind changes by the hour.

I've felt like that Patti many times before. But one thing that has usually swung it in favour of going is my own personal test:

Where did all or most of the good things and life enhancing/changing encounters happen to me over the last seven or so years? On answering that question, I usually decide to head back to India!

I knew you would go ,your just pi@@ed of at all the hassle you have been through.
Once you get to the airport put get your luggage checked in your be so glad you are going .
Anyway we need you to go so you can tell us what it was like when you get back .
Oh then you will be pi@@ed off that you are back in UK !

I always have a time of feeling like that about going most anywhere! It does seem to have worn off, though, where India is concerned.

There was a certain sadness about leaving UK, after my first visit back there in over a year, yesterday, but India soon put the smile back on my face as soon as I felt the warmth and smelt the smell...
