Bank Draft Payee For FRRO Chennai

I've been asked to return to the Chennai FRRO tomorrow with a bankers draft, but it occurred to me that I don't know who it should be payable to.

Has anyone recently done their visa stuff and remember who the bankers draft should be payable to? I tried ringing their number, but of course got given the run around to a number that's not in service.

Your help would be appreciated!

Goodness, no idea.

There is a branch of Axis Bank, in that complex at the back, if you need to go there, find out, and nip out to do the banking.

OK, my bank is Axis, so it would have been useful, but I've got to get the company to pay for it anyway.

Don't know if I can post it here, but the 'out of service' number I called came back in to service after I decided to give it one last go. If you want to make a bank draft (they also call it demand draft) payment to FFRO Chennai, you have to pay:

DDO, Bureau of Immigration Chennai

Hope that helps some other people

(delete this if I shouldn't post this kind of info!)

That is very useful info! No reason at all not to post it

Why not change the thread title to Bank draft payee for FRRO Chennai --- then the information will be more easy for others to find?

If you decide to do that, go to your opening post, click EDIT and then click Go Advanced button. The Advance Edit dialogue allows you to change the title.

One good thing about this DD, is that it makes it highly likely that the whole sum constitutes an official charge. If you had been asked for cash....
