Back to back to back visas
Am newbie and have searched so forgive me please if this is already answered.
I have been to India twice on my 6 month visitor visa which will run out in Feb. I am booked back there in March for a month and will obviously apply for new visitor visa. I envisage myself going for visits of a few weeks here and there for the rest of my life (!). Does anyone know if there will be a problem in applying what could seem to me to be a "continuous" visa - and yet it obviously is not this from the stamps in my passport that show I am not there all the time. Do you think the High Commission in London will continue to give me tourist visas every 6 months? I will clearly not be in India for the whole of the 6 months. |

We've discussed this a few times.
You will have no problem at all getting visas, I've had 3 in 13 months.

Thank you very much. Suspected it had been discussed...few "problems" with reaching the "wrong" side of 60...on the other hand life has never had so many opportunities and as Zorba said...at this age you have to do it FAST!! thank you for patience..

Hi there, I'm sure this is addressed some place, but I can't seem to find it anywhere-
I have a 6 month tourist visa that expires in March, and I'd like to stay in India untill the end of april. If I go to Sri Lanka now to apply for a new visa, will it be any problem that my current visa is good for almost two more months? Also, if for whatever reason, they don't give me a new visa, is there any risk of losing the one I have? Thanks so much in advance! |
