Appointment Re-Scheduling In UK
Just scheduled my appointment for next week but its at 9am, I don't live in London and am not sure if I can get there that early.
How easy is it to get a later appointment? |

Impossible, I'm afraid.
When you select a day, you are allocated the first available appointment on that day; because comparatively few people currently apply online, the appointments rarely get to late morning, yet alone the afternoon. You might get a slightly later appointment by cancelling it before 4pm the day before and changing it to an appointment two days hence, but as a guess based on other people's reports, it's probably not going to be after 9.30ish. The good news is that if you cannot make it in time for your appointment, just bring your appointment letter anyway, and just explain on the door. The absolute worst that can happen is that you still have to queue for a number of hours along with people who didn't apply online, but they will almost certainly still give you a priority (online application) ticket number. ![]()
