That would be ideal, but failing that perhaps if several established members on here mention the same agent. By established members, I mean people who haven't joined just to promote an agent, though I'd probably pick up on their IP address and ban them PDQ anyway.
Unfortunately for you, most people on here do seem to deal with their own visa application, partly because agents add a layer of bureaucracy and partly because many members are flying either in or out of Kuala Lumpur, so are ideally placed to apply in person.
Best of luck with you application!

Oh, and this is a part of the world we could use more information from, if you could report back on your experiences, that would be helpful, thanks.

I will be flying out of Kuala Lumpur too, it's just that I don't live or work there, and for the benefit of other forumers, Kuala Terengganu is some 8-hours away from Kuala Lumpur, LOL.
But yeah, thanks for your inputs, Haylo. I will definitely come back to report my experience, let's just hope it isn't going to be a frustrating one, LOL.

someone had asked a while back, but not received a reply, if it was possible to apply for a tourist visa in K/L then go travel in Malaysia and return to pick up the visa sometime after your visa notice is emailed to you. I'm realizing i'm in the same boat, that I arrive in K/L for 2 days then head off to Vietnam for a month and when I return to K/L I have 5 days before my flight to India, but two days fall on a weekend. So wanted to apply when I first get to K/L, then head off to travel and pick up the visa when I return to K/L. I realize it means the visa will start nearly a month before I get into India, but this shouldn't be a problem as I don't intend to stay the full 6 months. Im a UK passport holder, so I'm assuming I still get 6 months right off the bat.
The problem I see is that if they email you with a date to hand in your passport and I don't go till a month later, will I loose my application and how do I re schedule a time to come in.
Ive tried emailing the agency in K/L but as yet they havent responded and that was over a week ago.

Thanks im aware of what needs to be done. They email you to tell you to come in and hand back in your passport so the visa can be stuck in it, which you then pick back up in the afternoon.
Is there part of my question that you didn't understand that made you ask this? Just trying to clarify so I can get an answer to my question.
Edit
Ah ok seeing the part of my question you took out. I think most people know that there isn't a visa in the world that is just handed over without it being attached to a passport, so i didn't think it was necessary to explain that in every detail.

I was totally serious. Quite a few people who stumble across this forum don't have a clue. They don't realize they even NEED a visa and they don't have a clue as to how to find out about visa regulations of any country.Obviously you do know. OK.

And you do know thats illegal.

Traveling to CUBA for US nationals is not illegal per-se; sending money without treasury clearance is
I have not talked to travelers who have gone to CUBA who are of non cuban descent, who are allowed one visit per 3 years now ? It used to be annual.

and totally on topic, congratulations on a great job of moderating. Lost of useful information here now.

Per -se? how does that work? it either is or it isn't and last I heard it is. turning a blind eye doesnt make it legal.

There is not blind eye or any eye
Journalists,Educators,Medical, and US citizens of cuban descent can obtain a license to travel to Cuba. Travel to, and spending money in cuba are two different things. You cannot travel to Cuba for tourism
Here is a head spinning regulation from the State Department
