Exactly - as many posters have suggested bring minimal equipment necessary, you can buy anything here in the artists' requirements line. You surely wouldn't want to travel with a heap of weighty, bulky stuff anyway. All art supplies are very available in the cities.

I have a lot of experience with them!
Here we have a family in one of our trees, and they are not gregarious, preferring to keep our garden... sorry, their garden to themselves. At the previous house, we used to feed a flock of at least thirty, and sometimes over fifty, each day. They knew the timing and would be lined up on the next-door roofs waiting for us. If we missed, or had been away, one large black crow (Jungle Crow) with a missing claw would come and shout at me! Fine birds, Indian crows...

Opponax has it straight. You don't make trouble for the bureaucracy they don't concern themselves about you. Its the same way with tigers, no principle involved, just ego..

Prashant - loved your little 'poem'! 13blackcrows - edwardesco is absolutely right - here you keep a low profile, do nothing against the law, and no one will bother you.Painting out on the street is not against the law unless you are painting something no one wants you to - religious object or military installation etc.The border fence bet.India and Pakistan would be a no, no!
