10 Year Visa Question from US Citizen

If your passport expires before your VISA, i believe u will be issued a new passport along with the old passport which consists your valid visa. U have to carry both the passport's wherever u go.

Is there a authoritative statement statement (e.g., on a GOI web site) that states that a visa in an expired passport is valid, if I carry the old passport and the new one?

Never saw such, just know its done routinely by people I know personally..
