Thesa the simple maharashtrian dish ;-)

Hello friends, let me give you some advice regarding food.

If you are too hungry and dont have time you can make this simple dish,

it can be eaten with dal rice or with chapati.

Ingredients:

Green Chillies,
Garlic,
Salt
Jeera optional
Groundnut optional

main thing is just mash some green chillies, some garlic, together with salt by manually pounding in a vessel. And its ready.

Some people may like to add jeera in the mashing, and then take the mashed mixture and fry it little in tava (frying pan) and then add some roasted groundnuts and lo here you go, a more advanced thesa ;-)

so do make it and tell me how it tastes , it will taste hot and salty,

U are kidding right? This is a recipe for "thecha" which mean mouth-on-fire type of dry chutney. This is no dish to munch but something to be eaten in miniscule quantity as part of the whole meal.

Thecha is usually had with millet flour flat bread (bhakri) and is typical farmer cuisine.

IMers try with caution!!!Lest you .

Though it is eaten with bhakri, but most people wont get bhakri, so added chapati and dal rice, and its staple diet in maharashtra, thesa, junka , bhakar
