Smile Nutritious Ghiya Burfi For Diwali.

Happy Diwali To all of you.
A simple to make , highly nutritious Methai recipe for occasion of deepawali.
This Burfi is not only Very good in taste but also rich in fiber.
Children will love it.this recipe is for small serving ,you can multiply ratios according to servings required.

Ghiya long – 100gm
Khoya – 100gm
Sugar-50 gm
Fat- 1 teaspoon
Water- 2 teaspoon
Fat for greasing plate or thali
Essence optional.

Peel wash and grate ghiya

Heat fat in open Karai or Pan with heavy base, add grated ghiya and fry a little.

Add water and cover the pan till ghiya is tender and soft.

Add sugar, cook with constant stirring till the mixture thickens.

Grate khoya and add to ghia mixture, mix well. Cook till the mixture leaves the side of pan.

Remove from fire, add few drops of rohafza or any essence (optional.)

Spread over greased thali or plate and let it cool at room temperature.
Cut into pieces of desired shape when fully set.

I some times spread grated anjir when mixture is cooling.
