How can I make falafals at home? I think these balls are made of crushed fava beans with a few other ingredients. But Ihaven't been able to find curshed fava beans. Can dried fava beans be easily turned into the form that can be crushed to make falafal? How?
What is besan powder? What's a good receipe for somaji (sp?) (it's like powdered wheat)? Thanks. Dawood Toot |

Hello, Oh boy does that word bring back memories....Falafel ! I lived in Israel for almost 5 years back in the late 70's early 80's and we bought falafel on the street daily. We did, however, have our own name for it....FeelAwful.!! joke of course!
I put "Recipe Falafel" into Google and it came up with about 300 sites - didn't click on any of them, but you'll have no problems finding a recipe for them ![]() |
