They are lovely..served all the time as Prasad, after Kirtans, Jagrans and other religious events..

Dont remind me of Gunjiya - not available in Mumbai other than Holi and Diwali times, BTW what is Goand Pak. Panjeeri - Iguess is the Prasad you get after the Pooja

Yes, primarily used as Prasad, different forms are prepared. I like the Dhaniya one that my mom makes on Janamashtmi.

roshomalai in kolkata is another +
shon papri [ the flaky one, usually sold outside stations in a pile ] - slurrp

Infact I do not like the ones that are purchased. I only like the ones that are make by my mom or grandmom...
