I conceede defeat ; you certainly have tried more but do contribute to the list. Also let me know some Delhi specialties for sweets, so that I can try them next time I am in delhi and may be inch closer to your record.

Arrey Sir...no records here, I was just defending you here from the sweet tooth comments.. and anyhow, making a list is impossible, and I can see that you have mentioned many of them are not entered in the list...for me recalling names would be tough...but yes when I saw your list, I can say that I have also been there and done that..

I cannot recall any Delhi specialty, I guess its Mix of Bengali, Rajasthani and UP sweets here...

PS : When in Delhi, make sure you visit Gole Market once...

Just pulling your leg dude. I understand that the variety that is there is difficult to document. I do travel to Delhi atleast once a month and will try and visit Gole market once. BTW how is Ghantewala, last time we had gone to Old Delhi, I was so full with all the stuff that we had at Karim's that I did not try any sweets ...

Well in Mumbai some people call it Mahim Halwa... but it is as rubbery, as sweet and as oily (or is their a word Gheey) as the Delhi Halwa you describe...

Rum and Coke - well in this thread I would replace that with Bhaang Barfi(Bhaang + Mawa i.e. condensed milk) , which I had in Mathura during holi - completely mind blowing and in my case gravity defying as I had illusions that I was flying
