You will get the best tea in the world.. do try some real tea. Tea is normally graded into 10 qualities. Grade 10 goes into your tea bags - you deserve better!

Black tea is what you're used to - it is highly fermented and will make you a typical English cuppa.

If you take milk in your tea, make sure it is fresh pasteurised milk and that it is COLD. Most places will offer you hot milk, and it is often sterilised or Ultra Heat Treated, which makes any tea taste horrid.

When you have had your nice cup of tea and a sit down, why not visit Brooke Bond Road in Comibatore?

Can anyone tell me how to make Kashmiri tea - we bought all the ingredients when we were there in June. I made 2 cups the other night and it tasted horrible - bitter. I think I used too much tea leaves (a heaped tablespoon). But it tasted bitter even after adding more water. Somewhere I did something wrong. How many cardamom seeds is one suppose to use for 2 cups?

ona: 1 tsp tea leaf per cup. Is this a green tea? If so, steep for 3 min max. 5 min max if black tea. A CTC tea can be boiled a bit. Cardamom to taste but I'd start with 1 or 2 (green pods, cracked) per cup. If your using almonds make sure they're fresh and blanched. Use good water - our tap water tastes horrible so I always use bottled water for tea. There are lots of Kashmiri tea recipes on the internet, although some are as complicated as a college science project
