YEAH--successfully booked tkts from Jaipur to Delhi

I finally managed to book tickets which appear to be confirmed on #2016 from Jaipur to Delhi. I've printed the eticket reservation slip--does that mean I do not have to collect my tickets? and can just board the train with the slip and ID in hand?

I've read so many threads about having to list an address where tkts shld be sent to or collecting them at the train station that I am not sure what I need to do now.

You're absolutely sure I don't have to go to the telebooking counter in Delhi to pick up the tickets--there was no option of having the tickets sent to a hotel that I could see.
It certainly would be easier to just have this piece of paper to board.
Thanks, Baba, for your prompt response--I'm nervous about messing up and not being able to board the train.

You definitely don't have to go to any counter if you have an eticket.

Eticket stands for electronic ticket, and the instructions as to what to take (the printout and id) should be on what you have printed out.

When I booked the ticket last I remember there were two options: eticket and iticket.

When you book iticket you will get a normal paper ticket sent to an address in India. For eticket you just need the printout of the ticket and need to carry an ID.

Thank you SueJ, Baba and Vir for your help. I checked the rail website and confirmed that all I need is the documentation I booked the eticket with along with the eticket confirmation slip. I appreciate your help and glad I opted for the eticket, since I'm not sure where I would have had the tickets sent to.

etickets are the best! so far, no one has even asked to see my passport. FYI, though, if your ticket is for the next couple of weeks, check online and make sure the train isn't cancelled due to continuing riots/safety concerns--a friend going there on June 7 said all trains were cancelled, so she had to take a bus.

reneeautumn--thank you for the heads up--
i wasn't aware of the riots so i will definitely check during the next month to make sure the trains aren't cancelled. buses sound like a good back-up plan.
enjoy the rest of your travels throughout india.
