wrong age correction in the eticket

I don't think the answer above is helpful to you...as it is for name change...i.e. change of passenger...and what you wanted to know is age correction which you entered wrongly...Right???

It would be nice if you ask little bit detailed query.

Try to mention what is the age, what has been entered in the ticket and whose fault is it.

In my opinion, difference of few years is not taken into account as TTE rarely sees the age column. It happens generally when any benefit (like concession) has been taken out if it, I believe.

Apart from detecting wrongly-claimed (eg senior citizen) concessions, the age detail is mostly used as addition guidance that the ID is correct. Thus...

If you entered 42 instead of 41: the TTE will expect a middle-aged adult, one year either way won't make a difference.

If you entered 14 instead of 41: the TTE will expect a child, and, finding an adult, there could be a problem.
