Rajdhani is more likely to be on time. But if a delay of 2-3 hrs is not relevant, 2nd one is a decent option with much lower price, lesser stops than rajdhani & even lesser travel time than some of the rajdhanis.
BTW, neither trains go to DLI - is NDLS acceptable???

GHY Rajdhani is extended to DBRT so this is similar to #1.

02423 (Portion between Dibrugarh and Guwahati) gets its number changed as 22423 ex Guwahati. Booking ex Dibrugarh and beyond Guwahati (For the entire rake from Dibrugarh-Delhi) is done against 12423. It is the one and the same train.

Rajdhanis between Delhi and Guwahati are the same as between Delhi-Dibrugarh. When the train reaches Guwahati from Delhi a part of the rake is detached and proceeds towards Dibrugarh. Vice-versa, some coaches from Dibrugarh comes and gets attached to the rest of the train at Guwahati.
