Which station will be better H.Nizamuddin or N.Delhi ?

I'll be reaching H.Nizammudin station (by 2629 Sampark Kranti Exp.) on 9-8-2008, 9:20AM(if train running ontime) ...I'll be catching another train Janshatabdi (2055) to Haridwar on same day 3:25PM from New Delhi station...so this leaves me around 6 hours of free time....so at which station I should spend this time..which station will be better(read better amenities, clean, less crowd) N.Delhi or H.Nizamuddin ?

Instead of spending all that time at the station go to CP/ Janpath and stroll around there. From CP to New Delhi station is barely a 10 minute auto ride .

you can also spend some time at the humayuns tomb in Nizamuddin. Its one of the best attractions of delhi and usually not crowded.

This is a lovely piece of advise. You can simply spend hours in the compound..its very peaceful in there..

you can take an auto from humayuns tomb to New delhi station.

Its a 10 -1 5 minute walk

Once you are there , like Nayan said, simply take an auto, there will be more than enough around.

The cloak rooms may not accept luggage with out a lock. Check out at the cloak room at NZM station.
There are suburban trains between Faridabad & New Delhi which stops at NZM. At NZM station enquire about trains around 2:30 to 3 PM.

For depositing your rucksack in cloakroom just wrap in a bed sheet and tie a knot, they will accept it as a "Potli". I tried this once at Gwalior RS.
