Question where to buy IndRail Pass

Hi!
I'm looking to book train tickets from Canada for my India trip. I've found that the only way to do this is through an Indrail pass. Does anyone know where/how to do this in Canada (we have a short trip, so we need to have our reservations). Most websites we've found suggest Hari world travel, but we can not find it in Toronto.

Thanks a lot!

I checked a while ago and found that the general Sales agents for both the USA & Canada had closed down.

When are you going to India?

The general sales agent I know prefers to book tickets a month in advance and will sometimes try to book 2 weeks in advance, but absolutely no later.

Why don't you book E-Tickets over the net instead of waiting for an Indrail pass ?

We are arriving in India April 16th, and looking to travel April 18th.

We were trying to book the e-tickets last night, but we don't have an address in India to have the tickets sent to. As of Nove 2004 you are unable to pick them up at the train station. As of now, we are really stuck on how to get these ticket

Have you tried the Air India agents? At one time they did this. Never thought it a value but ...

Could be worth booking your 1st night hotel and have the tickets sent there.

is that reliable? We're not arriving for a month, and we're concerned about them being lost by the time we get there?

If it's a reliable hotel, you shouldn't have any problems. You need to email, fax, or call them ahead of time to let them know that you want to have tickets sent there, and they will let you know if they are willing to accept them on your behalf. You should verify this before booking the tickets!
