Where is Extra Coach
Considering heavy rush, sometime back Indian Railway has started adding Extra Coaches to compensate long WL tickets. But from my recent visits I found that now they are not adding any Extra Coaches (SL or 3TAC).
Anything officially declared about not adding Extra Coaches on Mail and Superfast trains.

They sometimes add an extra carriage in busy periods, and sometimes on a perminant basis, but many important trains are already running with the maximum number of carriages, yet even on these sometimes an unreserved carriage is replaced with a Sleeper Class or 3A carriage.
I've had a few tickets for 'extra' carriages, ES1 (or is it SE1), ES1 stands for Extra Sleeper class carriage number 1.
Also EB1 and EA1, but both of these were on Rajdhani trains.
(B = 3A, A = 2A)
