Talking What is Cheaper - Indrail Pass or PAYG?

We are traveling from Delhi - Jaipur - Udaipur - Mumbai - Goa - Kerala, within the space of 3 months and a view to spend about a month in Goa, all by train. Would anyone have a rough idea as to how much this would cost in train tickets and would it be cheaper to get an Indrail Pass?! If anyone has any cheaper alternative ideas then please feel free to add to the thread!

Many Thanks

p.s. Anyone going to be in Goa for the Cricket on 4th April?!

No, it won't be cheaper with an Indrail Pass. They have lots of plus-points to buying one, but price is not usually amongst them. You are doing quite a small amount of travelling spread out over a long period - Pay As You Go is a better option in your case. You might find it useful to contact this company (they are very reliable, in my experience):
