Hi,
Can anyone help me. I'm arriving at Villupurum on the 8th March off train 6124 eta 04.55. Question is, how do I then get to Pondy??
Is there a local train or bus that connects with the mainline trains.

Any advice would be appreciated
Many thanks

From Villupuram , there are buses to Pondicherry approximately 20 minutes once and it will take maximum 1 Hour to cover the stretch!.

Now only I noticed you arrival time . Yes buses are there at that time and not at all a problem !

Hope this helps

hi,

I would suggest that you travel by bus even though trains are there but you can get the bus whenever you want to go. Buses are of good condition too. There are normal state transport bus which are not that comfortable. But other private operated bus are very luxurious.
All the best for your journey.
I am based in bombay and I am dealing in cashew nuts.
For any other assistance, Please contact me.

There's a train that leaves at 10 am and reaches Pondicherry at 11:05. Where will you be coming from?

Villapuram to Pondy

If you arrive in the morning, wait for the 10am train.
You can exit the train station via platform 1,go left to the end of the street,go right for 50 meters for the Pondy bus stop.
The buses are crowded but the unreserved 2nd class train at 10 rupees is empty,in comparisson.
Greetings.
Homerus.
