Udaipur to Jaisalmer trains? Are there any?

We want to travel from Udaipur to Jaisalmer by train. We can't find any direct ones (or figure out how to get there indirectly).
Anyone know how to do it?

If it helps, where we're trying to go:
Delhi- Jaipur- Udaipur- Jaisalmer- Jodhpur- Agra- Varanasi- Darjeeling and back to Delhi.
Is this all feasible by train? Should we fly some of it?

We don't mind what class we travel and our joint daily budget will be about $60-100 per day.

The main thing we both need to know is the best way to get from Udaipur to Jaisalmer, so any help there will be greatly appreciated!

I suggest you take a car to Jodhpur and then a train from there to Jaisalmer.

This will enable you to see the fabulous Jain temple at Ranakpur, as well as the impressive Kumbalghar fort on the way.

Try Delhi - Udaipur - Jaipur - Jaisalmer..................... ..........

Or even...Delhi, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Jaipur, Udaipur, Bharatpur (for Bharatpur or Fathepur Sikri (then Agra))..........

Then it all works fine.

You will find all train times in the 'Train Information' link below.

You will probably want to fly back from Bagdogra (near Siliguri) to Delhi.

It's funny how it all makes sense when someone suggests an alternative! I'd been pulling my hair out trying to figure it out!

@@@How can you find one, when Railways itself don't operate a direct train between Udaipur and Jaisalmer!!!!
