Trivandrum-Nizamuddin Rajdhani express

The IR website says this train no longer stops in Margao. Is there any way to find out if this is a permanent change, or just a temporary problem?

The name of the railway station (& the new name for the town) is Madgaon.

I have just checked the Indian Railways website, there seems to be a mistake on there regarding this train.

A short while ago parts of the Konkan Railway were closed and trains were diverted, this was because of landslips caused by the monsoon rains.

The Indian Railways website is still saying that the Rajdhani is being diverted.

I read Indian newspapers everyday, as far as I know the line has been re-opened.

I checked a couple of other daily trains that use this route and they seemed to be running OK, I would guess it may just be a mistake on the website.

There is a part of the Indian Railway website that allows you to check where a particular train is at the moment (thus seeing which route it is using), but I have no time to check at the moment.

yes, I know the name has changed officially, but after 30 years of saying Margao, it's a bit hard to switch. I do now say Chennai, and sometimes write Kochi, but Bombay I think will always be Bombay to me!

Thanks for the tip. I will search the site to see if I can find the train on the move.

Apparently, the train is still being diverted. After Shoranur Jn. the train goes via Vijayawada, Warangal, Balharshah, Nagpur, Bhopal, Jhansi, and Agra.
