travelling by sleeper class.

i have a waitlist ticket for the sleeper class in trivandrum exp. on the day of travel if the status remains unchanged can i still travel by the sleeper class.( i know no seat/berth will be available , but will I at least be able to enter the compartment)

Passengers with out reservation are not allowed to board sleeper compartments.

You can board if the status goes to RAC but not on WL.

if you absolutely need to travel that day you can approach the stationmaster and ask whether he can give you a place from the emergency quota or any other quota that they have available.

for some invisible bucks they might even let you on board the sleeper
