Traveling to Coorg from Chennai

We are trying to organize a three-day trip to Coorg from Chennai in January, for a group of about 14 including myself. Can anyone suggest the best options of travel, accommodation and sightseeing in Coorg?

Chennai- Mysore by the overnight Train. Mysore-Coorge by bus or car (hire a mini bus or two Qualis vans)

-Include Bylukuppe (@ Kushal Nagar near Hunsur) on the way if time permits.The Budhist temple is colourful.

Chennai - Mysore - Coorg is the best option.

For 14 people, where r u planning to stay ? just curiosity ? Orange County ??

There are lot of home stays - in Coorg..if u book well in advance..all 14 can get accomodated in one place.

I stayed at this place called Alath Cad...it is a nice place. Check their website www.alathcadcoorg.com

check out thier rooms...14 people can get place there. And, Alath cad is close to Kushalnagar ( 28 kms ), madikeri ( 28 kms ), Cauvery Nisargadhama, Dubare Elaphant camp, Harangi Dam...all these places can be visited from alath cad.
