dear friends I am zohre from IRAN
and I want to visit india ( jhansi ,delhi and Agra ) will You help me about the transportation ...
I visit india 4-15 dec 2004 and will arrive in delhi and go to jhansi 4 dec and come back 8 dec and I wanna visit taj mahar for at least 8 hours
We are 3 and share the rates so please tell me the best advice ... How to go to jhansi the safest and most economic ways for 3 females and go to agra and back ... I may reserve a hotel in taj for a night .... and come back to delhi next day ..... the fares are important to me

Hello Zohre !

Travel by the Shatabdi Express from New Delhi(06=000) to Jhansi(10=40). The fare is Rs. 545/- per head by AC. Chair Car.

From Jhansi to Agra there are plenty of trains daily. You may catch a train which reaches Agra in the late evening and halt the night. After sight-seeing you may return to Delhi the next evening.

From Agra to Delhi the evening Taj Express is suitable, fare Rs. 266/- per head. However, this train terminates at Hazrat Nizamuddin, which is south Delhi.

If fares are important to you, there are lots of trains from Delhi to Jhansi.

For example,

train 8478 KALINGAUTKALEXP Nizamuddin Jhansi Jn 187 Rs = 12.50 - 19.30
train 8238 CHHATISGARH EXP New Delhi - Jhansi Jn 190 RS = 05.00 - 13.25
