I was borne by an Indian train. But some people couldn't be induced to travel this way... They laboured through India on the buses... All the time in the confinement of narrow seats... Then, in the hotel, to find some wag had written "amateur gynacologist" in the register.

Hi all, Upate on the status of my reservations re 1AC. Steven ber - you are correct - my agent informs me that the tickets are indeed "confirmed" but that the coach/berth numbers will only be available after chart preparation and will be available & displayed on date of travel. So there you are!! That's the closest I'm going to get in knowing whether or not we have a coupe. Thanks Layman, Archit, steven ber, et al for all your help. Very funny midnight-toker! We can't wait to get going....come on Jan. 3rd! Happy travels to all. armoury.

Hi Armoury, Don't worry reg. 4 berths, if you booked 4 then nobody can accupy those berths. If the TT allot them to any body, complaint to the SM in the next station or first off all you dont allow any new persons.
