Train to Bandavgarh, M.P.
There is a train station -Maihar- between Satna and Katni in MadhyaPradesh. We were thinking to get-off at Maihar to go to
Bandavgarh(Tala?). As we understand from IM, Taxi is available from Satna and Katni to go to Badavgarh. Our question is can we get a taxi from Maihar to go to Bandavgarh ? If yes are they available at station or one needs to make arrangements in advance and where? What is the cost? Thanks. |

Any particular reason to get off here, as you can continue to Katni then catch the train to Umaria and from here, there are taxis, shared jeeps and Buses for Tala!!
Be warned the roads are pretty crap in M.P. |

Why get-off at Maihar?
The main reason was I could save time, a few hours.
