Train ticket says Scheduled departure: NA*

Hi,

I bought an Electronic train ticket through cleartrip and I got Scheduled departure: N.A.*

* Departure time printed on the ERS is liable to change. New time table from 01-Jul-2011.

Train No & Name 16316 / Bangalore Exp # 09 Aug, 2012
From Eranakulam Jn (ERS) To Bangalore Cy Jn (SBC)

Now I have worries if train will have a very different timetable, as I must buy the next train from Bangalore to Mysore 2'5h later.

Does anybody have experience with this? Will I receive a new train ticket in July with the timetable printed on it? Do you think timetables will change a lot in July?

Any feedback-experience welcome!
thanks

As already mentioned in the ticket Indian Railways comes up with a new timetable on July 1st every year. The schedule of few trains are changed, not all trains.

You will not get a fresh ticket. You can take a print out of your existing ticket and travel on it. You will have to check the time table towards the end of June to see if the scheduled departure of your train will change or no. As of now it is scheduled to depart ERS at 20:35 and scheduled to arrive SBC at 08:35.

Thanks aarosh,
otherwise if schedule changes a lot, then I might change train... (and may be already fully booked!). A bit of a harsh for people travelling in July and August..!
