Nowadays, people have started opting for MANDOVI for the day journey from Mumbai to Madgaon because it has got some inherent advantages, when compared to JS:

1) Mandovi starts later than JS.
2) Mandovi has got SL and 3AC Accomodation so that those who cannot sit continuously can lie down for a few minutes.
3) Manodvi's Pantry Car is the best in Indian Railways - this is the view of those who travelled by this train.
