I think somethings not right about my train. It's going to take me about 16hrs from Cochin to Goa leaving at 14:15hrs and arrive next morning at 5:45hrs. train number 6346.
Is really possible to get there in 4hrs? |

I have tried searching but cant seem to find how far it is from Delhi airport to NDtrain station.
I have another thread so I will probably get told off for this but....copied and pasted [OMG.. this is a night mare....less than 2 weeks to go and I find a glitch like this. I have found a train that leaves NDCL at 17.35 will this give me enough time to get through customs ect (landing at 15.30 approx) thinking hour through the airport and then hour to get to the station?] |

Hello Ziggi-We are 3 pers and we are paying 3474 rupias in 2nd class A/C for the 3 of us. I'm not the one who knows best to advise you but maybe if it's still possible it's better you get a better class. There is a thread somewhere on this site that tells you all about the trains with photos of the coaches and lot of helpful info. Have a look and then choose. bye bye.

Hi Ziggi- We are paying 3474 rupias for 3 pers in 2nd class A/C. I'm not the expert on this but if you can have a look in the train section you'll gets loads of info and also there are photos of the coaches. You can decide after if you want to change to a better class (in my opinion you would be better to change if you can afford)

Unless you're working with some agent, those prices are fixed. So unlike with buying a handkerchief or negotiating a rickshaw or something, there's really no reason to worry if you're paying the wrong price on a train. Well, unless again you got some intermediator to take their cut.

Another Q for Steven & Co.
For a train between Ajmer and Jaipur on 10th Jan 2009. Picking between #9105 or #8632. 9105 gives us more time to spend in Pushkar but I am worried because Ajmer is stop number 19 it probably will run late, this getting us into Jaipur too late. Whereas 8632 seems to originate from Ajmer. Any thoughts? |
