Train delhi-Agra / Agra-Jaipur
Hi,
im planning to go to India for 10 day at the end of january.
Do u know the train schedule for Delhi- Agra and Agra- Jaipur
Then from jaipur I would like to fly to Trivandrum. Is it possible or do I need to go back to Delhi first? Is there a train from Jaipur to Trivandrum.
Any suggestion?
It's my first time in India and I would like to see some nice spot where to take good pictures (im a photographer)
Thanks a lot

Check this site for the trains. There are 3 stations in Agra(not sure how many in Delhi) so be sure if you don't find a train that you like, check a different station.
Do you really want to take the train all the way from the very north to the very south!?? Ugh. Long ride. You may not find a direct train but you could go from Agra to Mumbai and then Mumbai to Trivandrum.
I would suggest you fly out of Jaipur. Check makemytrip.com, yaltra or some other websites for the flights. You shouldn't have a problem getting a flight out of Jaipur.
Are there any other sites you are interested in seeing? If you do decide to take the train then I would suggest that you see if there isn't something in between point A and B that you would like to see. That way you could have a break from the train for a day and then get back on and continue your trip. Mumbai is ok but a bit expensive and not the most touristy type of place. Still there would be things to see so do think about spending a night somewhere besides the train

Hi,
I am in Guangzhou PRChina. I have traveled on DELHI-AGRA-JAIPUR-DELHI route just few months back:
2002A -BHOPAL SHTBDI - NEW DELHI 06:15 - AGRA CANTT 08:27
2280 - TAJ EXPRESS - H NIZAMUDDIN 07:10 - AGRA CANTT 10:07
4212 - INTERCITY EXP - NEW DELHI 17:40 - AGRA CANTT 21:40
2965 - GWL UDZ SUP EXP (GWALIOR to UDAIPUR train)
AGRA CANTT 17:40 - JAIPUR 22:20
2016 - AJMER SHTBDI - JAIPUR 17:50 - NEW DELHI 22:40
My friend was also planning last month to travel from New Delhi to Trivandrum. There are no trains between Jaipur and Trivandrum. From Delhi 2 trains take too long as the distance is about 3,100 KM.
2432 - TRIVNDRM RJDHNI - 42 hours - Only on Tuesday + Sunday
H NIZAMUDDIN 11:00 - TRIVANDRUM CNTL 05:45
2626 - KERALA EXPRESS - 51 hours - Every day departure
NEW DELHI 11:30 - TRIVANDRUM CNTL 14:20
You can take a flight by JetAirways or IndianAirlines. Infact there no direct/non-stop flights. Both these airlines fly thru Mumbai (BOM). Trivandrum is also known as Thiruvananthapuram. Airport Code is TRV. You can go to respective airlines website to check the schedule and best available lowest airfare.
Happy Journey.
