Train berth photos (& others)
Hello everyone.
Does anyone have photos of the train berths (or any other useful photos) in different classes on Indian Railways?
Photos to include: -
Seats, Berths, view of carriage interiors, photos of any interesting signs, reservation chart, carriage code (indicating class), toilets, sinks, shower (1AC), carriage door (open & closed, from inside and outside), tinted windows, barred windows, bed rolls (AC classes), food trays, transvestites and a cow.
I know about the photos on the 'Seat61' website, but as much as I love the site, I don't think the photos are great.
I'd love to add photos to a new thread to show first time visitors to India what to expect.
I had planned (and had a meeting set up thanks to VSP) to take photos of all classes and add them to the 'Train Information' thread, however, once my Girlfriend decided to come to India (with our baby) everything had to change.
So can indiamike.com come together to get enough photos?
If we can get enough photos together on this website, I'll find a way of getting the ones we’re missing.
If the photos are too big, too light/dark or any other problems, send them to me at stevenber(at)gmail.com and I can reduce the size and do all sorts of wonderful things using photoshop.
Obviously, replace the ‘(at)’ with a ‘@’ in the e-mail address, I just don’t like putting the whole address together, it attracts spam.
Thanks everyone.

I'll be catching a A1 fron Delhi to Dehradun in a bit over a week from now and a A2 from Haridwar to Ajmer a couple of weeks later. If you haven't got what you need by then send me a list of what you require and it will be a pleasure to assist.
Let me take the opportunity of thanking you and the other train guru's for the great posts on IM, it has made a great differece to the way I've been able to plan my trip.

I was only joking, I scrolled acros your photo and Tirupati, Vishak and Puri came up, so I thought I'd try to pull your leg a little.
I shared an old First Class (non air con) compartment from Delhi to Assam with a couple of soldiers, conversation was difficult until I brought out a bottle of imported wisky to share.
