| Train 2956 Jaipur to Sawai Madhopur Hi everyone I'm trying to book 2 tickets from Jaipur o Sawai Madhopur, on the JP BCT Superfast service (train number 2956), for 6 November. However every class shows up as 'Not Available' or 'Booking not permitted'. I have tried cleartrip, makemytrip, irctc and erail.in, and all advise the same. Does anyone know if this train is actually running? Thanks for all your help (again!!  )Tim |

| yeah, indianrail.gov.in too! I first thought maybe its because of that 90 day in advance limit and all, but it shows the same "Not Available" status for tomorrow's train. Other trains look fine. |

| I guess the trains are not running at that time. It is showing the status in reverse order (Sawai Madhopur-Jaipur) |

| Any reason for choosing that specific train Tim? There's also an intercity express and many other trains between Jaipur and Sawai Madhopur (buses too). |

| Hi there! I'm keen to get in to Sawai Madhapur for mid afternoon. I may try and get an alternative train (I can see one leaves Jaipur at about 1000, and another at about 1700). Must say though that I hadn't really thought about bus as an alternative. I'll check it out! Cheers Tim |

| It's most likely because the journey is too short so there are no bookings allowed (as the railways may lose Jaipur-Mumbai customers). It's a short journey, just buy a '2nd class superfast' unreserved ticket before you travel, then ask the TTE (ticket man on train) to upgrade you to Sleeper Class, even if there are no seats/berths available, you can sit by the open carriage door and enjoy the views. |
