Tkt from travandrum boarding varkala
Does anyone know if i can board the train at Varkala if i've bought a tkt to board at trivandrum.
I have decided to change my itinary and have already bought the tkt. |

With e-tickets this is only allowed on the tatkal scheme and must be done at the time of booking. So if you have an e-ticket and if there are still seats/berths available, cancel and re-book again. The penalty is minimal.
With an ordinary ticket, go to the station and try to change your "boarding point". I have never done it, but I remember reading about this.
