There seems to be no way out.

They will have to start doing advance planning.

Do you think people will book tickets 4 months in advance (except emergencies, occasions, long holidays, etc) ?

IndiaJP, RS Halder had informed in this thread on April 1, 2015, the ARP has changed to 120 days since April 01, 2015 from 60 days, and it is still prevailing.

Hello everybody

Little confused. In spite of having advance reservation period of 120 days why some trains do not show upto that period when you go to book a ticket on irctc website. For example train no. 12351. If you want to book a ticket in the month of January 2016 then you can't, but it does fall in the 120 days advance reservation period. Does different trains have different ARP? How to know the ARP of a particular train?

Thanks

The referenced train (12351 Danapur Express) will terminate at Rajendra Nagar Terminal (RJPB) from December 31, 2015.

Hence, no availability for Patna Jn or Danapur after December 30, 2015. However, you may book this train up to Rajendra Nagar Bihar (RJPB) from December 31, 2015 onward.

Hi guys
Since there's no way to check which trains have shorter ARPs, is there someone here that knows about the following trains, as my travel plans are changing a bit.

Dehradun Shatabdi (#12017) Delhi to Haridwar.
Ajmer Shatabdi (#12015) Delhi to Ajmer.

Cleartrip is telling me to check again later, I'm guessing that they both have 30 day APR limits.

Cheers

All Shatabdi trains follow the 120-day ARP system.

Cheers. I think it was because I had choosen first AC as ticket type, it caused problems, selecting Chair Class seems to have sorted it.
