I have bought all the tickets we need Jailsalmer-Jaipur-Agra, then Del-Amritsar, Haridwar-Delhi. But, I can not book the Agra to Delhi on the intercity express ???? I waited until after the 10th Oct as that was 60 days before, and that was when I believed the bookings opened for that journey. But it still comes up with the same message each time I try. Almost as frustrating as booking safari's at Ranthambhore.

Have I missed something in the fine print on the irctc regs ?

Possibilities are :

- Some trains have a reduced ARP...
- Or reservation is not allowed for the leg that you are trying to check...

I hope you have used indianrail.gov.in to check the availability. If it is showing up availability and that is changing, then you must be able to book it.

Most trains can be booked 90 days in advance, but some trains only 30 days in advance, including the intercity.

If you're coming back to Delhi, why not consider the following train.

8237, Agra Cant 16.10, Amritsar 07.55 (2A, 3A, SL.)

Ah Ha, that makes sense. I thought it was 60 days, if it is 30 then booking it will have to wait until we get back to India 2-3 weeks before the train travel dates.
