I am booking tickets for North India (to Gorakhpur). I am still waitlisted at 6 with only 4 days to go, so I thought I'd check out Taktal prices and see if anything was available. Per Indianrail.gov, taktal is NOT AVAILABLE. I got this message for a couple other trains lately, too--and within the 5 days before departure when taktal should be available.
I thought all trains had at least some taktal seats reserved?? Was I wrong? |

For tatkal you have to book from train starting station to ending station.
So, you have to select starting and destination stations as train's start and end stations. Try that. |

Guess your travel is done already hope all went well.Normally the tatkal tickets get booked very quickly..some of the travel agents normally can help you with that for an extra cost..

Dear Praveen,
For tatkal you have to book from train starting station to ending station. ##Not necessary always. In another thread, I have explained in detail!!! |
